The National Computer Incident Response Team of The Bahamas (CIRT-BS) is excited to launch Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025, highlighting this year’s theme: “Secure Our World – Securing The Cyber Future.” In October, this global observance serves as a reminder of the importance of making cybersecurity a daily priority, empowering both individuals and organisations to help create a safer digital world for all.
“Secure Our World – Securing The Cyber Future” campaign underscores the education, awareness and actionable steps that people, businesses, and communities can take to strengthen their defences against cyber threats.
CIRT-BS is committed to advancing capacity building initiatives throughout the month with a range of public engagement activities. Our outreach will focus on issues that continue to challenge Bahamian citizens and institutions alike, including spotting and reporting phishing attempts, practicing strong password and authentication habits, and ensuring proper protection of digital devices.
